I would fit a standard servo but I think I need a smaller one - any ideas. Would a Futaba S3002 fit ok ?
the Q12 creator is a local guy here and may do the machining of parts for me

Are you using the plastic battery trays? If you don't have them they are part #16170. You get two pair for about $5 and you will need to trim them for 4-cell in the 12M. Even with the trays the batteries will protrude below the bottom of the chassis some, but shouldn't be a problem with 4mm of ride height.

Yes, Mooony is right. They should come with the new kit. I would call Corally USA (407) 681-5905. Stormer Hobbies and Speedtechrc carry Corally parts online also. Good luck!

Thanks - bought teh car from Stormer and it was a Corally sealed box but no plastic inserts. Oh well thats a problem when living in Australia and dealing with mail order I guess. Stormer don't have teh battery trays in stock at the moment. Do you know what 75335 is - is it a similar part ?

If you have the SP12M you need the part #16170. 75335 is for the SP12G which will not work on the SP12M.

This site has a lot of use in the past week or two! 
Outside on the asphalt, the 12M Euro really works well. Fast, Smooth and easy to drive. If everything works out, I might be able to win our outside series with it. I'm 1 point back in second after the first 4 events!
As to the battery trays, I thought there was talk last year that Corally was finally going to make a new carrier for the new cells and already cut for 4 cells. I beleive I even saw a part number. Anyone else remember this?
Rinkrat is correct, we have a local R/C fabricator who does great work. I'll race his 12L4 conversion on the carpet this winter and he has been making me T-Bars and other parts as needed. This also included making fiberglass spacers that allows me to use large diff rings on the Corally rear axel. Helps when getting diff controll with 19 turn or modified motors.
As to using Associated style wheels, I have always felt that the Corally rims were stronger, plus the cost is less. Once you have the car set up you will only need a few compounds to make it work. My 2 cents.

My interest in converting to US style wheels was just because of the ease of getting them locally. I have now got hold of a Corrally adapter for my tyre truer so if I can't get the mounted tyres I want I can certainly get the donuts and do my own.
I'm a bit stuck with the battery tray at the moment.

Ok guy's I need some help with this.
I've run Corallys for 15+ years but have never attempted this. Our local track is going to run an "Enduro" race. 42min for electric pan and touring cars.
What I'm building is a standard 12M that can use a 6 cell stick pack. I have the car together, but should the battery be flat on the T-bar. It is heavy with 6 cells, so does the weight give the t-bar enough flex? Or should I space the battery up for some movement?
We are building this as an F1 assault. 6 cells, Modified motor, quick battery change, quick tire change. DRIVE FAST. Any thoughts???
