Isn't the Mugen body the same for both? I just helped a friend with his new "R" and the body just had two sets of cut lines.

Anyone racing the Saturday series opener this weekend @ Proline? Anyone know what tires have been fast there in the past?

This happens sometimes on the X5. It's not common but also not unheard of. It's from landing hard on the throttle.

happened to me...in the center as well. the break was very clean and the pin was not bent at all. now the pin is in single shear though.

Does anyone use a mugen starter box? I have one and since new (owned since feb 07) have had nothing but trouble I think one motor was bad or was soldered wrong. Sent motors back to mugen and I dont think they did anything have use it 5 times since got motors back about a week ago and it quit working today looked inside with flas light and saw it had a bad brush(completly gone). What i want to do is to replace them with 2 orion 27turn stock motors and was wondering if this is ok or should I use something else?

Had some problems with mine Years ago , check your wiring really well and use really good heavy wire also , wiring shoud be in "Series " and check rotation of motors also .
Other than that mine has not missed a beat in many years

cheers

I know this has been asked before and yes I used the search button. Where can I get setup sheets for the mbx5r. i went to mugen and only found one for europe. My kit did not come with a basic setup. I really want the basic kit setup and I will work from there.
