Had that same problem on a friends car, turned out the servo saver was to loose. His car wouldn't turn until the car slowed way down. Just a place to start.

servo move good? no binding? turn equal both left and right? check the servo saver as stated and set up. another thing is seting up the brakes. a quick tap when set up right can help out alot. i run mine so the back has a little more brake engage and my fronts can still rotate a bit so i can still steer.

i have not checked servo saver, wheels move equal left to right
havent got the brakes quite right
im used to driving ae electric cars not use to having to use brake to turn
maybe something i have to adjust to
thanks for help

just keep toying with it. i have both the mbx5 prospec and the mbx5r. when you are getting the brakes close you can get the car to turn REALLY sharp with a medium tap on the brake. you cant just sit it and forget it though because depending on the surface it may need more or less brake but at that same time you would be talking VERY slight adjustments so you will always be in the ball park.

how should should i adjust the break, do you run 50f,50r brake
should the wheels spin when idle if not are the brakes to tight
thanks

the spinnning wheels is usually the clutch springs being too light or damaged....but, judging by the fact that the car was more or less new, with probably newer springs, im guessing your idle is too high on your motor...
try that Laquan
again, try to set your rear droop about 10-12mm more than your front.

if the wheels are spinning with any amount of torque beihind them, the car COULD be pushing due to this when you let off the gas....high idle also causes the engine to not react to change in throttle input quickly....which could mean, if youre letting off before the corner, expecting the car to unload the rear, it may not be...again causing a push.

sorry should wheels roll alittle while sitting on starter box
trying to make sure i dont have any drag brake
how do you guage 70,30
im a newbie to gas

if the wheels are spinning at idle on the box, then the clutch is engaging the clutch bell...this is not desirable and will only cause worn shoes, stressed springs, and high heat.
Turn your idle down until the wheels stop spinning on the box.

i used to get a light ping pingfrom the clutch at idle but i took care of that. seemed like 1 spring was easier. all i did was tune down the idle a tad

I have been out for a while racing my new YZ450f but ihave been falling of a lot lately. One good thing is i am starting to get the itch again to race my buggy. What tires is everyone running on hardpack. I am guessing that is what Rev is going to be like when the new track is done. I still havent run my MBXR on a race day yet! I think i may try some GRP spoke premounts. I am tired of looking on dish wheels.
