Im drifting with a vortex 7.5, 67/21 gearing, i think its around a low 8ish FDR, its got plenty of torque, but im looking for a little more power now. i dont want to gear any lower because the motor gets hot enough as it is. i want to keep the same FDR, but get either a higher kv 7.5, or a 6.5...

Ok so im racing my TT01 in a spec class, but am running it at another track this weekend and they dont have spec, so im running stock. With a 17.5bl and 23/58 gearing, do you think i will be able to keep up very well or do i need a larger pinion?

The TT01 isnt ment for a brushless set up, not matter what you do its always going to drive like crap at high speeds. High speeds and a poor steerting set up end up makeing the car VERY hard to control.

Scott,

I may be able to offer suggestions, if you provide more details on your car.
What options and upgrades do you have. Particularly. What upper and lower arms do you have? Is the car stock, or a -D, -R, or an -E?

Kevin

the 3racing full steering kit works wonders for the slop. you can slice some sprue the right size and put it in the allen key holes in the ball connectors to take up 100% of the slack..

It is the plastic left over after you cut all the plastic kit parts of the 'sprue'.

I have just got the ball diff set for my TT01, planning to use it for drift but unsure how to adjust it... How many turns should I adjust back from the fully tightened position for the front and rear? My current setting of 1 turn on both front and rear makes the car push Oh..please advise...

for my TT01 drifter, a while ago i was using a diff locker in the rear, & a semi tight ball diff in the front. for the front, adjust the diff so it acts similar to an lsd, so you have the traction from both front wheels when needed! Im now rocking both fully locked diffs, my ball diffs teeth stripped, not the plastic part!
