Thanks.

Tech Initiate
quote....to get the speed you need to work wih the gearing. 55Spur and 25 pinion in a TT01 will yield the best results with a 540 motor, even better with a Sport tuned. just make sure you monitor the motor temps though, you don't want the motor to run too hot.
the sport tuned(rs-540) would that be the better motor to run in a tt-01 with that gearing? if you a motor with lower turns would it also help?

Can anyone here tell me the exact weight of the ball diff 53663? Is it lighter than the stock gear diff? I see there are outdrives included with it. Are those the same as 53806? I use the TA04 universal shafts. Do those fit in the drive cups?
Thanks

Some explanation:
I use my TT01 in the Tamiya Euro Cup Series. There's a "Gentlemen Class" for drivers that are at least 30 years old. The only chassis in this class is the TT01 with pretty much any hopup from Tamiya allowed. Body has to be touring car from the real German touring car series (DTM), Motor is the Carson Cup Machine (about 8$), tires are Type A from Tamiya (53433).
We also used the chassis during the 24HR race at the track in Sinzig. Last year we reached a distance of 497 miles (winning team did 546 miles).
