I can't imagine running the TT-01 against other chassis.

Actually I am running it. I run it in a spec TT-01 class at my local track.

Also, I don't believe I said any of those things.

If you go to the Tower listing of the car on the page you sited, it's 190MM.

is there an upgrade for the out drives of the TT-01 Type E? The stock ones don't look like they will hold up well.

I ran the stock out drives for a long time without any issues.

Here are a couple. I am sure there are others. I think some of these require different out drives but you'll have to find out about that.

On the Tamiya Website these are listed under hop up options for the TT01 E. These would be legal for the TCS, except in the Spec/Novice Class. They are not listed as an approved option for that class.

need a servo that will work well with the TT-01 Type E I have a savox shorty servo but its not lining up well.

I've got a Traxxas 2075 that I got off of ebay for $10 in mine.

Works fine.
