I answered this a few posts up. Post number 1881. You want to gear your car so that the motor doesn't get too hot. Most people use 160 degrees fahrenheit as the danger zone. Using the gearing above, you should be safe. If you don't have a temp gun, use your finger. If you can't hold your finger in the motor for a couple of seconds, it's getting too hot. If it gets too how, use a smaller pinion.

I've recently built a new TT01 from scratch, here's a list of what it's got:
3Racing v2 chassis, locked rear diff, one-way front, alum shaft and sparking drift wheels (7mm offset)
Bearings all through the car
Hobbywing ezrun 35A ESC w/9T motor
It's setup for drifting and so far, I don't mind how it slides. But, I was wondering, does camber do anything? Is there anything else I should look at doing?
Thanks!

The good news is the rest of the car is very sturdy. Your only real worry will be stripping something when you over tighten a screw. You need to be sure all the screws are snug before you race but don't over-tighten!

Well the Jackson 24hours commenced this past wkend and lets just say that most TT01s do not see near as much runtime in their entire lifespan as 12 of them saw this wkend. it was good times.

oops forgot the fact that you need a 3.5 BL.
Careful on the ESC temps though, 4 or 5 full speed passes was enough to melt the motor wires out of my GTB (no fan though). Motor was pretty warm maybe about 140-150..

There are a lot of people running EzRun 9t and other with EzRun 5.5T.
Other question....my car still has a problem.
When I start full throttle to the left the car starts making donuts. When turning right it does not spin.
If I go slow, i can do a circunference both left and right.
Changed everything with stock parts and no luck.
The only thing I haven't change are the tires and the diferentials.
Any tip? Is it possible that a bad diferential is doing this?
One more thing. when starting fullthrotle in straight line, it goes with a tail slide.
Thank you

LIPO in the TT-01 Battery Tray
Does anyone know if a Zippy hardcase 2-cell LIPO will fit in the TT-01 battery tray? I know these batteries are slightly longer than the standard 6-cell NiCd. Thanks.
