The Speedshot front baulkhead system will give you an easier and quicker way of replacing the front diff' when you nead to. You don't have to take the whole front end apart.
The other main thing is that it enables you to alter the front roll centres by giving you three options on the upper a arm. Handy when your trying to dial in that G4s for best grip.
The other thing is...........it looks just way coooooooool

Menace Im interested in that mod you mentioned for the 2 speed.
Just checked my 2 speed housing last night and its worn again.
I think a remedy to this wear is also to shim out unecessary play on the main shaft.

Here is a before after shot - i am no clay modeler, but i tried the soapy water thingo and it did help a bit in the smoothness!!!
Enjoy

The mod I've done is to replace the two 6/10/3 bearings with one 6/13/5 bearing. The two speed is drilled to accept the bearing as a press fit !
When drilling the housing. I have not gone all the way through. As with the stock bearings, I have left the bearing protruding from the back 0.015" to ride on the baulkhead bearing. I left a small shoulder on the inner part of the housing for the bearing to seat on. You nead to have a small spacer and shim out the resulting gap/space betwean the new bearing and the drive pin which sits inside and drives the two speed shoe cam.
Ensure the new bearing is a press fir into the housing. This is important.
I hope I have explained this ok.........it's very hard without pictures. But hopefully I should be able to furnish photo's by the weekend
