after sanding the edge of the graphite i use a sharpie to color the edge black (gives it a shiney black edge) then use ca on a q-tip to coat the edges. it's a lot easier and less messy to use the q-tip than trying to pour the glue from the bottle onto the chassis. also, if you twist the cotton on the end of the q-tip prior to putting glue on it, it tightens the cotton so it won't leave strands in the glue on the edges of your chassis.

You shouldn't need the Sharpie to colour the edges of the chassis....it will naturally adopt a gloss black...and any area that isn't shiny you can tell isn't adequately covered with CA

Loctite makes thin CA in a bottle with a very small brush applicator (kinda like a fingernail polish bottle/brush...just a clear plastic bottle, not glass). It beats the Q-tip deal by a mile. You get most of the CA off of the brush tip, and use the side of the brush laid flat on the sanded edge... it will give you about 2 inches of smooth, shiny CA before you have to redip. Its really easy to make NO mess with it. Since you arent using too much, you have very little of the white residue left over to wipe off the chassis. Its also great for doing the sidewalls of foams, and is very precise. You can find it for about 2$ in the school supply area of Walmart, or in the paint department of Lowes. Im sure its available elsewhere, but those are two common places i KNOW you can find it.

You don't have to rebuild the diff. There is alot of grease in it... And it's verry smooth..

The kit includes setup-sheets witch look verry good to me. They will be on-line soon i think.

Can't wait to drive it !! (tomorrow)

Keep in mind that my FK05 was weighed while setup with a 2mm chassis (15g lighter than the 2.5mm and 35g lighter than the 3mm) and the adjustable top deck with all three braces and all four stands mounted (10g heavier than the wide top deck w/4 stands). With this in mind and comparing apples to apples (2.5mm chassis and wide top deck on the 05) the T2 is probably 10-15g lighter.

no immediate hopups needed...kind of refreshing

I have been using it on every car since you told me about it. He's right it is way better than a q tip.
