The diff balls are carbides since the FK04: http://www.teamxray.com/teamxray/pro...kategoria=1286

use the internet it is a cool thing with all the search functions

to all:
yes the US kit will come with two diffs
yes the old belts will fit
the middle layshaft pulleys are the same as the FK05
yes the drivetrain ratio is 1.7 (same as the fk05)
it comes with the new black coated screws
the old knuckles and arms wont fit
the xray springs will fit
no battery bar is in the new kit (option part)
yeah stop asking the same questions hundred times would be appreciated

And yes sarcasm is my second language, so some patience on your part for everyone would be appreciated. Its a new car and multiple questions will be asked, and repeated. If you dont like it.. dont answer.

yours is the 1143rd post in this thread. Believe me it gets boring after 5-6 weeks. Still I'm excited about every NEW post but it is disapointing to click on the thread only to see that somebody wants to find out if the US kit comes with two diffs or what (this question was asked at least 40 times here and an additional 20 times on the xray forum). And some people even admit that they never look back in the thread. It is like a live chat not a forum.

Yes I was sarcastic sorry

That's great, thanks for the search help. If they wouldn't put the disclaimer "Specs are subject to change at any time" would help. Then there's the "Spec" kits. I'm glad it comes with carbide diff/trust balls. I don't think AE kits come with them anymore. They use to include them, but somewhere down the line they pulled them after the TC3 kit. I'm not sure if the TF TC4 does or not.

Just be happy to have the option...

Many companies don't even offer the possibility of a battery strap...

I run one in my FK05...but it doesn't matter if it's not available on the release day here....I just want my kit lol....

that is the dumbest response ever! i love xray as a touring car (not in a weird way ) but why don't they just offer the strap for free/with kit?

too many companies offer no choice??? WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU ON ABOUT??!!

this is the dumbest/smartest money maker xray has come up with. i've heard endlessly "straps tweek the car" but all i see is every 05 owner and his dog with either a official strap or a hacked up job on their car.

PLEASE XRAY.... you're lucky you have sheepishly obedient owners, and a exquisite product to match

i'm not racing until i get my T2. the FK04 is retired

Default battery strap...

This may have been asked already, does the 05 battery strap fit on the T2? It like buying a real car and its doesn't have any sit belts.
