PITCREW any pics on the adjustable c-hubs and castor blocks?
Are you going to make the steering knuckles to accomodate the 28mm foams like team tamale?
What's the pricing?

No plan on producing steering knuckles at this time.

Rear adjustable hubs are going to be first. Pricing is going to be $75 for the pair of rear hubs, and the parts to accomodate .5, 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5 degrees of outboard toe-in. It will be at least two weeks untill the first parts come off, maybe a bit sooner, but don't want to get anybodys hopes up too soon.

Adjustable castor blocks will be next, but timing is up in the air at this point.

I guess that some kind of plastic insert in the hubs is PitCrews idea?
If it is so, I wonder how easy it will be to deformate the plastic and get another degree? No critic, I'm just wondering! Seems like a sweet idea no matter how it's done

NO PLASTIC!!

I haven't seen the other cars you are mentioning. Not sure how they worked.
I will have more info for everyone in short order. As soon as the first part comes off the machine!

IT's NOT THE RIGHT REAR HUB. Update.

Found on the early chassis I bought: The bulkhead mounting holes are not drilled in-line front to rear, the bulkheads are offset when mounted on the chassis.
I swapped the whole assemblys back and forth between the early chassis and the new chassis and ended up with the toe problem only on the older version.
Talked to some other people about toe probs, some had minor, 1/2 deg or less that was fixed with new hubs and others with major probs like mine.
Looks like there were production probs, maybe from diff machines.
There were many posts from minor to major probs, I think this is why.
The drawing is from the bad bulkheads, measured from the ouside edge of the bulkhead to the edge of the screw holes, done with a good digital caliper.

The same peices will fit in the adjustable C-hubs as well. At least that is the plan.

Fred,

When toe is measered on the car - are both sides off by the same amount. One side +1degree - one side -1degree etc...?

Still haven't measured mine since I changed the rear hub.

Thanks,
Deric

With the screwy bulkheads, yes. Check the wheel base L&R to see if its the bulkheads, might just be the hub for a fix.
