Default Sway Bar

I would like to know if anyone is running a swaybar on the front of the car. Since X-Ray didn't release them yet...I wanted to know what I need to do to run one.

What size is the ball cup on the front arm?

Is it necessary to run a front bar on this car on Carpet?

Thanks!

Some of the guys here in Dallas are using the 05 rear sway bar and it is working out great. You do not need it though.

when ralph burch was running the pre-production car he did indeed use a T1 rear sway bar on the front and had pretty good luck with it.

Also if your local hobby shop sales airplanes you can get piano wire from there in 1.2mm or whatever size you want and then get some threaded rod while you are there.

Then use the long shock ends that were on the shock parts tree to thread onto the threaded rod.

Then bend the Piano wire to fit...

Look at some pics from the Novak race there are sway bars on them cars

You will get the idea.

Ran the car tonite in stock at Socal...Wow, what steering. We run high bite asphalt, rubber tires...I am very impressed with the kit. Did find out , I will need to run the tamiya wheel hubs, cuz the stock rims hit the shocks ...Oh well.

Ps. You may need to shrink wrap the cvd pins, I had a hard time keeping them in even with locktite. I may grind a flat spot to have the set screw hold better.

Default Here are some pics of my ride.

It was the neatest I could do to get the GTB to fit. Not much space, but it all will fit just fine.

People have posted that the FK'05 brace will work if you flip it 180 degrees.

Metric screws use a 90 degree countersink. I got mine from McMaster Carr - www.mcmaster.com
