munrath, tidy!
what KO servo is that?
does anyone have any more information about the rumoured new KO low-profile servo's?
I blew up my hitec HS-5925 on sunday, not happy, on the main straight too. *crash*.
I've put a KO 2344 in it for now, but had to shim it out to hell to get the packaged servo horn to clear the top deck.
with my hitec i used a thin ally horn, and attached the turnbuckle linkage to the outside of the horn (away from top deck)..

Hey does anyone else think that X-Ray should come out with a diffrent steering knuckles for people that run foam tires? This shimming stuff is getting crazy..
What was RC america thinking. Yea lets be nice and put Jaco foams in the box and then when we go to mount them they rub against the steering knuckles..Weird..

The TC4 gear adapter was easier to use as a jig... i didnt wanna mess the T2 mount up in the process. Anyways, you can see the difference between the button head and the flat head... it definitely makes room for the clearance issues.
