Default HELP WITH TRAYS

Newbie question...

Does the much more zero-v tray or the novak flatline discharge tray have automatic cutoffs?
Will your battery's polarity reverse if you leave your batts unattended in these trays?
Which tray is better?
Could you give me tips on correctly using one of these trays for my gp batts?

Thanks in advance...
