There's a guy that races at SRS that uses one. Trevor Clement I think is his name. He's usually in the on-road nitro and off-road threads.

We have two world champions running them In fact we just won the Dutch 1:5 scale Nationals. There is no harder scale for RF then 1:5 scale or 1:12 scale carpet.

Ask your local hobby shop to order a demo radio!! We have a dealer demo program.

NOMADIO now talks to the other brands DSM receivers in Da Slow Mode!
DSM is now defined!

We drop from our blazing fast 100Hz frame rate to 50Hz DSM frame rate and poof away you go!

Download the new beta today! Loads of other new features in there as well.

Hello,

The last few weeks all guys running specrtum or Nomadio are having problems with them (no matter the category)!! It's an large outdoor track (www.rchobbyarena.gr) .

Prior this time there was no problem, but suddenly nothing works!!!! Any idea what might caused that issue?

Ran outside touring today for the first time with my Sensor. The track was large asphalt track and had powerlines with towers less than 100 yards away and every was flawless all day long. Car was glitch free from start of the day to the end of the day. This radio just flat out works flawlessly for me.

How much would shipping be to the Philippines?

I tried to put it in my cart in Tower Hobbies, and it's one of those items that can't be shipped to my country.

The vendor in amazon.com also doesn't ship internationally.

How about if I get it direct? Pls give me an estimate of the shipping to the Philippines. Kindly PM me. Thanks!

Who with a Nomadio was having problems? Have them send an email to [email protected] ASAP! I think you’re in Greece correct? If you are, there were a few bad receivers that we heard of they have been replaced or are being replaced. There is no reason for a Nomadio not to have great range. If you have one with less then stunning range check the antenna mounts in the receiver.

Here is what IS going to happen to people on DSSS as HOPPERS come online their reaction time will slow and their range will drop. So if you see speks dropping like flies get off DSSS and go with a Hopper like Nomadio. FHDSS work fine with other FHDSS radios and DSSS radios, but DSSS radios get clobbered by FHDSS that is the way 2.4 GHz works. For a while here with only low end DSSS TXs on 2.4GHz they got away with low power and slow frame rates.

Hoppers also can put out 100mW while DSSS radios can only go 10mW. What I think you are seeing is more traffic on 2.4 GHz by hoppers.

As for who sells to the Philippines that is a harder question with all the credit card fraud it’s hard to get shops to sell to your country. We can ship direct with a wire pre-payment

That's too bad. I can understand the fear of credit card fraud, because it's harder to catch the scumbags if they're based internationally. What I don't understand is that in amazon.com, I have ordered many things from them in the past, and so also from towerhobbies. But this particular item cannot be shipped internationally.

I can understand flammables like fuel, etc, and even some batteries. But radios...

A wire transfer might be the only option. Sigh. But that would be:

(Items + shipping) plus 10% of both items AND shipping for wire. Anyway, I'll look at my option.

Thanks for the reply!

Here is me in the center of the pic winning the ORL2 race with my Nomadio in hand. Worked flawlessly with my Express Motorsports powered Schumacher MI2 EC touring car.

The ORL2 series can be looked at here if interested.

I can't say I feel a huge speed differeance but I will say that when I turn my wheel I have no lag time. I can see this if I turn in to early and need to make a really fast and aggressive steering input as it does it immediately.
