Watched Doughty race this indoors on high grip astro at UK BWOC. I'm not a Durango fanboy but I have to admit I was impressed. Not sure where he ended up finishing, but the lap times were rapido.

+1 . I'll probably be one of the few who will try this on loose conditions lol. I'll still keep my plan b dex210 around too. Have two vehicle setups.

Hi Cain,

I think the car could be tuned to be quite capable on low traction too, it may require patient driving, maybe different lines, and certainly some tuning.

I would recommend starting with my dirt setup
http://www.team-durango.com/pdf/setu...%20Doughty.pdf

and then tune from there, tuning rear diff will be important. as will weight balance, you might need to add some rear weight to shift the front/back weight distribution back a bit more.

I've had most success with the car in Shorty setup, I think with the ESC behind the motor its the config that can get the weight furthest rearwards

am I correct that the diff is just like the other vehicles, hence, could drop a ball diff in there for low traction conditions?

Its shipped, hope to see it this week. Would love to build it over the weekend.

How is left to right balance on the vehicle?

can someone comment on what the different rear inserts for the RR hangar mean for toe? I don't see anything about that, could be missing it, on the setup sheets just shows the diagram of what they look like.

I shot a message to lunsford to see about getting some titanium turnbuckles. they appear to be basically the 1 3/4 length or very close.

If i remamber correctly, there is no ball diff out there for the 410, and the F shares the same diff!?

You are not alone, i could'nd find a description for the inserts eather, i was asking TD over on oople allready a fiew weeks ago, if they could do a chart for the rear hangers, may they can clarify that for us.

Good luck dude.....I ran a shaft 2wd and I could only really get it to work on grippy astro and carpet...I even had trouble on less grippy astro! Putting power down was the issue without going sideways... Not sure if you can do it, but using 2 gears only in the diff might help and using a light diff oil like 2000. Some will argue to go really heavy with the diff oil though! Never tried that myself. Also increase front droop and soften rear springs / dampers and rear toe to 4 Deg...or over if possible! 3 or 4 degree anti squat at rear.
