We have a few guys that have run it on our local dirt track and the car looked great. They were running 17.5 and were able to get it to hook up really well. The only change they made from stock was to run the rear driveline on the hole closest to the rear diff and they said that was all it needed to hook up.

I would say the track is Med-High all the time and switches between dirtwebs and slicks in the same day. I want to try it in mod but I've been running a lot of carpet lately and haven't wanted to make the switch to a dirt setup.

I would say target an initial FDR or 6. I was using a 75T spur from what I recall.

I have just the 87T spur and will try a 35T/36T and check temps from there. Thanks.

no prob. I liked the gearing range on the vehicle and you don't need baby spurs to make it work.

Watch for that weird "lip" on the motor mount cam, you will see what I mean it can interfere with the pinions.

Cain. What 17.5 motor you run on the 210F. I ran before the Revtech kill shot 17.5 3800Kv and the D4 Short Stack and loved those motors. I will be running 17.5r again and I cant make my mind on what motor to get. Go back to Trinity/Revtech or something else....

when I last ran the dex210F before selling it I was running the Maclan 17.5 Motor and really liked it.

The Fantom motors look interesting through and I know some very fast guys who use those.

I plan to try a Hobbywing V-10 motor for the 17.5 blinky class.

I run a second hand V10 in my 4wd buggy, 8.5T and it works quite well.

Heck, outside of my Maclan 17.5 most of the motors I use have been second hand lol.

How are you guys setting up your electronics in the F? I last ran mine with a 7.5T motor for open buggy and placed my ESC behind the motor. I am switching to 17.5T blinky and am thinking that I might put the ESC directly in front of the spur gear. Thoughts?

I was watching Jason Snyder video the other night when hes usin the laydown transmission on his B6 and seems he moved the shocks to the front for dirt. If I run my 210F on dirt I might be installing the ESC behind the motor and moving the shocks to the front of the tower and give it a try. Maybe add 1oz weight in front of the rear diff over the brace.

Kinda interested in one of these but Great Planes still has them showing on order. I prefer new but I would set it up for 17.5 and run my Exotek Durango in mod. I think at are track even with a gear diff it could work.
