Yeah, well I messed up the chassis a bit, but the tip about using a de-bonder worked well - guy at my shop advised acetone to remove it. Did the job :-) Apparently in water above 80 degrees C the glue becomes elastic like and can then be removed. He didn't advise this approach, as he didn't know whether the carbon deck would hold up to this!
A pic below shows how I've taken over the dining room table to build my Surikarn Excuse the Serpent box on the table

Enjoy your life with TB Evo III SE. Just make sure you have enough spare front 1 way gear.

The front one way gear hold the spur gear. The spur gear stop the bearing movment.

hey drew, trino striped like two sets of gears today!!!
he is going to try the yok's in the evoIII, so did the car pass the crutial drew test, i don't think that you got last, but are you going to stick with a car, or keep changing?
oh, and i was thinking of getting an evoIII
is there a way to stop the gear problem?(there is a gear problem, right?)

I think this is the car I wam staying with for a while, I will be at tamiya everysat for awhile The gear problem I think its just how people drive it?? I am looking at them right now and they look new no wear or anything what so ever and I drove it like I would anythign else, so to me there is no gear problem, knock on wood Ya chris you should get a evo $ 229 then come to tamiya with me and kyle.

Also, since you have the OG Evo3, you might look into getting the carbon fiber backing plate for the front one way gear. I don't have the part number on me but it will "help" support the front gear in some cases.
