Have you tried running this year's motor in your carbon and aluminum wonder? I've gotten severe radio problems with my two examples. I gave one of the motors to another racer for him to try out and he's got the same problems. Put in some other non-Tamiya motors and no problemo...weird I mean, it's a motor...it's not rocket science hehe.

I donīt know of the GT7 capacitor but you can buy some really good capacitors at http://www.digikey.com/
One of the best capacitors I know of are the Panasonic FC. Very low ESR (inner resistance). Some of the speedcontrol manufacturers are using them but I think at a much higher price. Also you can buy some bigger versions @ Digikey.

Not very small but works very good. Digikey Part # is P10266-ND.
Downside at Digikey is a $5.00 handling charge applies to all orders less than $25.00. But maybe you could order some caps for your teammates also.

A while back linger measured the Tamiya and Associated springs at his work place using a materials test system. Here are the values he came up with:
Associated White 40.4 lbs/in
Associated Yellow 33.8 lbs/in
Associated Purple 31.2 lbs/in
Associated Copper 24.6 lbs/in
Associated Red 23.2 lbs/in
Associated Gold 18.8 lbs/in
Tamiya White 16.5 lbs/in
Associated and Tamiya Blue 16.3 lbs/in
Associated Silver 14.5 lbs/in
Tamiya Yellow 13.0 lbs/in
Tamiya Red 11.8 lbs/in
Associated Green 11.5 lbs/in
My question is, has any one been able to measure the newer Tamiya springs yet? Specifically:
Tamiya Super Hard (53635)
Tamiya Ultra Hard (53636)
I'd love to know their values so I can insert them into the above chart.
