Does it break in crashes or removal of the pin?

How do you feel the cars compare in performance?

Are you still racing a D08 in MOD?

Will D09 mounts work on the D08?

I can't remember the color progression on the arms to its hardness. I know silver is hard. Gold is harder than silver. I'm lost with the red. HELP!

The the time of writing
Red is hardest
They are carbon filled. A bit heavier. But so far stronger than gold.

Looking at getting a new graphite chassis. From Bezerk Rc. With modifcation to accept suspension mounts from the D08. And the cut out where the motor set on the right side and have it done on the left side of the chassis. What are any thoughts on these modifications?

Save your money and put it towards buying the D09.

You would have to replace the suspension hangers as they are what stops the inserts from popping

That's exactly what I had in mind/meant... I assume they all fit including one piece FR..

Only ones I have broken were front rear hanger.

sounds like it's about $60(us) investment.. considering those inserts are about $20 (cad) it may be a good idea.

Also heard people are using D07's hangers but...

Lastly, anyone experienced leaky diff? I have built it with 5k and I didn't like it so I swapped it with 3k, it was better.. but I noticed by end of the day my rear was stepping out onpower, and noticed around outdrives there were lots of oil.

Just got my new D08 built up, was a good deal on clearout.
Happy with the fit/finish albeit a few minor things.
First, the Rear Left Diff Outdrive has a wobble, almost like it is machined wrong. Can't imaging the diff housing will hold up long like this.

Second is the rear Shock Tower has one mounting hole that isn't countersunk when it should be.

And lastly there weren't nearly enough M3x8mm Round Head Screws to build kit, had to mooch from my Brother.
I'll message VBC and see what they say.

Really looking forward to getting this thing on the track

I run d06 hangers on my d08 when I'm using the aluminum chassis, and d07 hangers when running the cf chassis. I already had the d06 and d07 hangers since i have a d06 and d07. I also sometimes run a P00 or P05 FR hanger. No inserts to blow out.
The D09 hangers seem like a fantastic option for those who don't already have a bunch of d06/d07 hangers.

Default Castor

From what I understand , Vbc only makes 2 degree castor blocks . Is there any other way to add more castor to car.??

The kit caster blocks are 4 degrees and optional are 2 degrees.
