Hey guys , I just purchased a new Roche F1 kit from Gripworks RC in Canada . I am a touring car guy and a total F1/pan car newb , so I was hoping you could point me to a set up that would be applicable to running on med/high grip grey carpet on a subfloor . I took note of the ball stud mod mentioned above and it sounds like the upright brace would be good to have . Also would be interested in seeing the inline set up mentioned . Really looking forward to trying a new car/class ! Your help is much appreciated , thanks .
In europe we never tested the inline configuration... Also other brands are using cross lipo.
Suggest you to start with this setup(My setup from last ETS) : http://site.petitrc.com/reglages/roc...ice2016120204/
If you don't have Yokomo/Ride springs, you can use Roche white in front and Roche soft on side.

My Roche was purchased used and I think it came with a different brand front spring. Could anyone confirm the spring height of the stock front springs?
Thanks

I will have Kyle write his setup down tonight and post it tomorrow. I'm fairly certain it's built per the manual. The only hop ups he installed are the alu chassis and rear lower pod plate. Center, side, front springs are all stock. We have not tested the stock carbon chassis against the Alu so not sure which is better.
As for tires, he used CRC fronts and rear. 1/4 to 1/2 dope on the front tires. No sidewall glue.
I ran his car this Sunday in club racing at 5280, it really is good. Easy to drive with good corner speed. Doped 1/2 front. Any more and the car had a little to much steering and started traction rolling. FYI, be careful cleaning your tires. We have not cleaned the tires from 1st run this may be part of the reason we don't have to glue the tires. They don't need it, the car turns well and doesn't flip.
