Most 2-channel receivers have a "BEC" or "Battery" slot - plug it in there.

the BEC or BATT slot on the RX is an input slot. The PT will not work there with most RX's. It needs to be hooked up to an output slot like a servo would. If you only have a 2ch rx, you will need a "Y" adapter.

I am pretty sure too. If the Y connector is used it doesn't matter if it's input. The PT would get power before the receiver if its hooked up using a Y connector.

That's not true. 2 of the 3 terminals are power and ground, and are the same for all plugs, wether in or out. The only difference is the third pin, which is the signal.

A PT only needs power to work, and the receiver is a convenient place to get it.

You may get some glitching if you plug it in the batt. plug, I tried it last Sat. with a fan plugged into the 3rd chan. and PT in the batt. and had glitching, swithched pulgs and solved problem.
