Roughly 8 weeks or so til Bumps is open full time and racing starts. Check the Bumps and Jumps calendar on the Bumps Website as it has the dates listed and whats going on that day at Bumps.

That would be interesting, I think it would level the playing field. I am happy w/ treads. I am not rooting for slicks but not against them. A good thing about slicks is they last a while in my short experience. Treads last a while too at bumps compared to running on outdoor tracks.

We will be running open tire this year since all the big tire companies make slicks vs a few years back where we had t make are own. I will say we will no be watering the track during the racing day to make slicks work all day. Some days they may work all day and other times they might not. We will not cater in any one direction.

This year we will be taking the taller ramps that we had will cut them to make them shorter overall. Should be a nice change. The one we cut down near the end of season worked well and the racers liked they way the cars jumped off of it.

We have been getting a lot of new products in the shop so check out our FB page as well so keep up on the new stuff and any sales we might be having.

Anybody selling a Custom works sprint at all? Or point me to a god place to check out some oval classifieds? I tried dirtoval.com but it looks like the site is down or something? Thinking of trying some oval this winter to mix things up.

There's a RC dirt oval and classified page on Facebook that has most of the traffic that used to be on dirtoval.com

Is it true there will not be any drops in the points series this coming season?

Well after two weeks into the season things have been going great. The new jumps are working great and the overall layout is so easy on the cars. The combination of the new jumps and old jumps really makes for a great racing layout. Just use chassis protector on your car if you want to keep any scratches off the chassis. I run two weeks plus 2 days of practice and my chassis protector is like new other than the clay stuck on it but that wipes right off with some Simple Green. This weekend I think it is the first point race so where expecting over 100 entries plus.

Don't forget the great food that Bumps has. If the weather is cold no worries as Bumps is plenty warm enough to wear shorts all winter. We have plenty of indoor pitting for everyone and a large parking long that can handle racing trailers and RV's with no problems. Doors will open at right around 10am or a few minutes before and racing starting at Noon time. Come on down and a check it out if your looking for some great indoor racing, warm clean pits and lots of food then you should check out Bumps and Jumps.

Just got back into the hobby and raced here this past weekend. The place is impressive and lots of fun. I am terrible, but the track, marshals, other racers, and staff at Bumps and Jumps made me have a great time regardless.
