10 street jam( on track incidents prevented him from a podium fight)
Alex, congrats and thanks for run down. Exotek would be my upgrade if Im any good with F1.
They said there was a B main, another 10 or so in that for a total of around 20 F1? Just curious as to the health of F1 in our region.

I'd recommend you just give Toni a call and ask him to send that small item in a letter, so shipping should be cheap. He's a really nice guy and is used to talking english too.

I believe there was 15 cars overall.
Not sure which chassis filled the b main

here is my setup
the caster spacers are the 8deg setting two small spacers on the rear of the arm pin
the reactive caster is stock
there is around 45 grams under the bellcrank steering
there is 7 on each side of the chassis in front of the battery and 10 grams centered under the rear axle
notes for tuning the differential
if your diff is too loose you will notice while cornering that you are lagging power on corner exit or you might hear your car diffing out ( an audible whining noise) if your diff is too tight then your car will hook and spin when exiting the corner
i have stacked differential washers like so ()( to allow more pressure on the diff plates
if you slap the boards you will seize the 5x11 bearing in the differential
this will produce a locked rear axle feeling
i reccomend using the tamiya f104 thrust bearing to prevent this from happening as it is very frustrating when it happens
i hope this helps, if you have any further questions please dont hesitate to ask or message me on facebook enjoy

What's the trick to getting the pin holding the threaded axle on the diff side to come out? Mine's in there REALLY good and I'm having trouble getting it to come loose.

I forgot to mention befor and installing the pin I used a very slightly oversized drill bit to team the hole out, but I had to take on out of a customers car recently
I used a 1.5mm hex driver and tapped it with another driver while bracing the diff hub on something hard.
Not a fun thing to hammer an RC car but was necessary to get the pin out. Measure the pin with a caliper and then find a drill bit ever so slightly larger.

Thanks Alex. and 75k and 50k in the side tubes? Seems high although I don't really have anything to compare it to other than my 12th scale cars...seems like that would be pretty stiff in the rear, especially since you're using 400cst and 3 holes on the shock.

It's for trophy race traction. The Lightning f was 100k
These cars are narrower by scale the objective is to stop traction rolling by making it stiffer it makes it harder for the inner rear wheel to lift and therefor traction roll
It should also be noted that I applied ca to the edge of the front tires (more the top of the sidewall) to help prevent traction rolling.
This is a high traction setup so if you have super low traction it won't work as well

Okay. The reason I ask is the photo shows a white coloured spring and the setup sheet indicates blue.

Our kit spring is black with a yellow marker.

Actually thinking about it... Now that you mention it. I think I have a Yokomo blue spring on the car. Sorry I've been so busy I forgot I did that, which would make sense why I couldn't find the other yok blue spring when I was going to put it on my tc... Sorry about that guys.

I will have to look into it but I'm pretty sure this shock uses the dynamics springs from the d06
I'll get back to you after work hours
