Concepts of the cells we use
I am interested in understanding the cells we use for racing.
Please please this is not a battery v Battery discussion nor matcher v matcher.
I would like to understand how voltage and IR work together and indeed how capacity can support a full 5 minute run mod/27t etc

Cheers, I will have a look

A resistor (the cell itself has resistance, IR) in a series circuit provides a voltage drop under load, thus, less internal resistance inside the cell, less voltage drop during the discharge cycle. Higher voltage increases the magnetic field inside the motor, thus making a faster, more powerful motor.
Capacity is just the quantity of materials (Positive anode, Negative cathode, and electrolyte) inside the cell for converting chemical energy into electrical energy, bigger cells equal more capacity.
