I don't know first hand having never been there, but from what I'm told, Stockton IS the ghetto.

When East Palo Alto, murder capitol of the world 8-10 years ago, got cleaned up by companies buying up the land for retail, there was a story in the SF Chronicle about how a huge % of the ppl that sold there houses in East Palo Alto, moved to Stockton.

So Jon is very right, Stockon is a ghetto.

I'm sure all our friends who live in Stockton are pleased to hear that.
Stockton is like anywhere else, it has good and bad parts of town. The reality in California is that RC tracks generally can't afford to be in the high rent district.

Yep agreed ...and actually to clarify my post ...it wasn't in stockton that I got my camera stolen it was in a rural city outside of stockton, and it was partly my fault, I left my camera case on the passenger seat in full view, anyone would have looked at that case and known there was camera with lenses, perpherals, etc... in it.

Partly your fault? On the seat?

Sorry, don't mean to laugh.

I'm sorry, I wasn't trying to offend anyone. Just what I've been told. And you're 100% right. With the price of land and even rent in California, we're luck to have any tracks. So the ones we do have end up in less than desirable neighborhoods a lot of the time.

Man, for being a ghetto town, they sure do charge a lot for wedding videography.

Default Kudos to Jarrod

We saw his potential when he was racing with us in Raymond, Me. It was just a matter of time before he reached this point and we wish him all the best, keep up the good work as you have a lot more to offer the RC racers !!!

A sad note: to the thieves in Stockton, may you enjoy your ill gotten items as someday you will lose more than just material things.
