I spent all weekend testing the 13.5 and 17.5 in 12th and the 17.5 in wgt-r. Ran them back to back with the TSR and they are excellent. Fast laps all were on par with the TSR and the fade seemed to be a little bit less. In 13.5 I actually got .1 faster hot lap than with the TSR so that is encouraging.
Big thanks to Paul for getting a good product that will allow us to compete!

GTR and Touring
What would be the best 17.5 motor combo for a GTR and then Touring?
Would you change rotors and or what?

I got a 17.5 MC2 in and is very excited to try it. The motor comes with S high rotor so I'm not sure if it is too much for 17.5 touring car on large track. The Stack is 21mm long so I guess it is no longer a short stack design? But I did notice the plastic divider is no longer there and the coils are about the same length as the v1 M code. On paper the resistance is on average 1.6 milliohm lower than the v1 I got. I guess the new design allow for short wire to work with longer stack to get both torque and rpm up? The KV is higher than my old v1 and the no load amp draw is also lower than v1 under the same 45 degree timing setting using a motor checker. The can only mark up to 40 degree of timing now. Does this mean the motor do not like to go above 40 for the MC2?

I think the stacks are actually 19.3. If you look the end of the stack on both sides there's a little green epoxy to protect the wire making it a bit longer. I'm sure when ROAR and other sanctioning bodies do their qualification they remove this to make sure the min value has not been exceeded.
