Looks like you can spend a whole lot mola on a X-Ray, yet the Ae stills beats um ......

You can spend more, but the Ae team still will "out set-up" you with their team work...

Its not the car !

Its the "Team " !....

Is your Team good enought to beat Ae ?

The FT TC4 is a good car.

And how many custom parts did they have to make to do that 1 win? Probly most of the car!!!!

I'll just say that it's nice to see the "crappy" FT-TC4 pull a win on the rug against the supposed "uber" TCs like the RDX and XRay.

Now...lets see his setup.

I bet it's light oil and stiff shocks with about 3 degrees of caster. We'll see.

Note that there were NO full-on factory XRAY Pilots in attendance though. A bit of a different story when Groskamp, Myrberg, etc. show up. If AE doesn't fly Barry in from Cali, An XRay wins. The car's fine, but it's in NO WAY superior to any of the other 4 or so competitive TC's currently available.

and how many custom parts do any sponsored drivers have on their cars. If anything the Xrays probably have more upgrade parts on them. They're slightly older cars. I know the sponsored xray driver racing where I was yesterday barely had a standard part on his car.

Here in the US on Carpet, its a thick Top Deck and thicker Chassis. That's about it as far as I know. I'm just glad AE did a factory team car. You could spend a grand trying to build a decent car outta the tub version.

I dont like to look at the huge races, because it seems that none of the factory guys have anything we cant get, all the way from their parts on the cars to the batteries and motors they have strapped in. But I try to look at what a car does on the club level. I think that any of the cars that are on the market can be competitive almost anywhere you take it. The questions for most people are, "can I get parts for this car", and "how much is it gonna cost me" and with these two in mind, it seems the AE car is the best bang for your buck. Im not saying its the fastest, or best, but I watched a team TC4 and FK04 ( I kno its older) battle it out all season last year.

is it just me or are the x-ray drivers a "little" pissed off because a FT TC4 just won?

possibly. I do think the TC4 drivers are going slightly over the top though about the car winning a single race. They do also have a point in saying that many of the best drivers weren't there. I'm happy about it winning though .

Yeah but I bet in the last 5 years no one has won more races than the TC3/TC4. I would think Xray has a long way to go to catch Associated in that aspect.
