Xray T4 2016
Soo less then 3 months to go .......
Been to the last ETS at the Hudy arena myself but didnt notice obvious changes at Bruno-s or Alex-s car.
Anyone already knows what optimised changes we can expect

Do the kits come with the new CV driveshafts now? That would be nice.
Other than that perhaps a one piece (Yokomo style, I mean) motor mount?

Just hope the shocks/springs, arms, diff/spools and swaybars stay the same.....The ARS could be an option sold seperately, and the ECS's could be standard.

I asked Hagberg this direct at AOC a few weeks back. He said he wasn't sure what could be an inclusion as he wasn't running any prototype parts and he wasn't aware of anything in the pipeline.

+1, the ARS is rarely used (only at the occasional track), but most drivers use ECSs. I don't imagine they cost much more to manufacture than standard shafts.

This time a 2016 version is not neccessary (in my opinion).
Aftermarket tuning parts from Spec-R, for example the motor mount, made a difference in feeling, but many drivers returned to the original.
What could be an improvement are shortened Spur gear bulkheads. Other than that and the above mentioned ECS the car is nearly perfect. Maybe a material change for the shock bladders would be nice as the swell quite fast.
I am not sure if these small improvements would justify a 2016 version. Lets see what they have in the pipeline...

I think the average racer would be more happy with these upgrades than option parts that may or may not work in all conditions.

I think including parts where Xray/dealers can make some money afterwards would be starkly in contrast to their business model!

Aluminum chassis on par with aftermarket options
Thicker/harder top deck
HD ECS
Graphite arms, with 2 hole in front
Solid servo mount that doesn't extend beyond the back of a shorty servo (ie RADTEC)
Xray's sweet battery retaining system
Solid R/F, split F/R blocks (opposite of current option)
No ARS, spend that money on other upgrades
