Foams or Rubber?? Should be able to help out on that

Anyway, first Q's....

X-Stock - Where does this fit in the trinity "range"??
I've been running mainly a CO27 for a while (and know that its a torquey beasty), is the X more like a Roar in that it prefers to rev? or is it a cross between a monster and roar? (hopefully that makes sense).

I'm pretty convinced that revvy motors are better suited to my Evo5, with it being shaft. The car seems to "lift" on power when using a torquey motor, so revvy is best for that car.

2nd Q - Bills special Brush... basically what is it? how does it compare to, say, an F-line (my current brush of choice)? Suggestions on tuning with it?

Cheers
Ed

The X stock is trinitys new Roar stock, they claim its going to have the rip of a monster with the top end of a roar stock however I have never found them to be real solid on anything but the most open carpet track. I know Bill said that it is the motor mike haynes perfered at the Xpress race, however the handout was co27 i beleive.

Just to clear that up, i have had better luck with an x stock and that is what i like to run. We had to run c027 @ the xpress race, but either way i much prefer mod

Dang it Bill that stock wasn't such a great idea....LOL

welcome to the team pete

yes i will be running x-stock at are race , the motor has a nice power
band and seems to have more rip then any stock motor i have tuned

but if it a small track or tight track , stick with the co27 ,but yes mike if we could of
ran the x-stock it would been a diff story

Bill.D thanks for the welcome.

I have a small query that came to light regarding the eligibilty of FTM motors in the BRCA Nationals.

Over Here each "tuner" has to submit motors for specs and as at this time only the Epic monster and Roar are legal to run.

As you can see here: REbuildable STock
19T motors here: 19T

So do you guys run carpet with rubber tyres? what additive do you all use?

We use more CO27's then monster's. I still have 6 monster's that has some good com size.. I'm going to use them up in club racing or just tune them up and give them to some of the beginners at our track.
Welcome to the Team Mi2dude.

Happy New Year Guys!

Had a great race last night in Stock Truck running on my Full Throttle batts and Co27. My truck was a beast all night!
We had a full class and it was VERY tight to run that many trucks on our small track but I qual'd 4th. In the main I was running in second when I got stuffed into the pipes and fell back to last... No worries, It was still early in the race... So I thought!
I got stuffed three more times!!! So I was working my way back from last place again with a minute or so left and got up to second and getting close to first place... The end of race tone sounded and I finished about a second behind. DOH! I had a blast and my hands were shaking so bad I could hardly hold my radio!!!
Thanks for a fun night of racing Bill!
Here are some pics from last night.
