I would like to know what everybody out there does after a couple of runs to their brushes. I know that after a couple of runs my serrations on my motors (stock/19t) are gone. Is it better to re-serrate or install new brushes? I thought that reserrating will give good horsepower Would buying a serrator be better and which ones are out there?

I use a Xipp serrator and re-serrate everytime I cut the comm. The Xipp does an OK job but I would like to know if there is a better serrator out there? The Turbo Dyno shows a little more power with serrated brushes on stock motors.

While no resurrated brush will be better than a new one (because a new brush is molded with them and a resurrated brush is well Cutting into the old brush).
I also have the xipp one and it works pretty good but I find that they make older brushes OK for a few more runs.....More that I put the resurrated brushed in my practice motors.....
I have heard there is a really old one that does a super job...but no one seems to have one.
I mostly use my Xipp to cuts into the brushes...

Just keep in mind if you are going to re-serate your brushes that as they were they get shorter, which changes you spring tension. Just make sure you get the spring tension the same, that way you can tell if re-serating the brushes is making the difference or the lower spring tension is making it run different.
