How do you see a car 1/8 mile from you well enough to control it? And you must be geared extremely tall to need that much space to reach top speed.

Make sure the body is a nice bright color that's as visible as possible.

Futaba is known for having great range. I use their basic 3PRKA. I believe the range is close to 700 ft.

Regarding visibility: I can see my Slash 4x4 Buggy conversion good enough to steer it about 150m when standing on flat ground. That makes 300m total distance. When standing a little elevated, 200m (=400m or 1/4mile total) is possible.

Like others have said, choose a bright color. And use some different color in the rear or front so that you can tell better which direction it is facing when turning far away.

For good radio range, mount the receiver antenna as high as possible and away from other electronics. Just raising the antenna 5 inches already makes a difference.

I use Futaba 3pm-x . Futaba fasst system has proven range to be well over 1000' . and yes a bright color helps. why choose orange backed with white.

Do the T-FHSS receivers have the same range as the FASST?

I did a couple of speed runs today. Results were good and bad.

On the first run it still wasnt going that straight but surprisingly managed 126 mph. New personal fastest.

On the second run at about 100mph both front and rear diff gears got stripped and also destroyed a shiny steel cvd bone at the joint where the pin goes thru. I'm not mad tho. Just part of the speed run game haha.

Its probably time for some GPM metal diff gears? Anyone had good luck with GPM gears? I've had some bad experiences with fitment on some other GPM parts in the past but they seem to be the only company making them for tc4s.

I need the suspension from an rc car. Which suspension do you recommend to be the strongest?

What are you planning to do with it? Do you short or long shocks? How much weight will it be supporting? How much adjustability do you need? What is your budget?

Glad to hear you got a new personal best.. I've heard some people like the steel gears.

Well said. I understand you are building a cistom car but it helps to know what exactly you are shooting for. will it need 1/8 shocks or will 1/10 do. give us an idea of what you are working with.

Sorry for the lack of info, I'm pretty new to this

The car should weigh a maximum of ~10lbs. I'm mostly looking for a 1/8 scale suspension since the diameter oft wheels will be around 3.5-4 inches. I don't think I'll need a lot of adjustability as long as the suspension can withstand the stress at high speed. Unlimited budget.

I would look at Revo shocks, or something like ofna gtp shocks.
