can someone tell me if they still make parts? or anything after market? does ebay have parts?

FOR GOD SAKES I HAVE A SERPENT IMPACT AND ITS HORRIBLE PARTS SOURCE! i hate it

do you own one? i have one its MINT conition but i don't wana nock an a-arm off and keep a broken car that i can't fix!

ALSO TIRES. the us doesn't carry them trust me I've search every site online and there's only over seas sellers to limited tires so i have huge doubts.

any impulse owners that know where parts are for this nitro sucker?

Impulse and Impact, Chassis the same, Frt/RR Bulkheads, Frt/RR Upper & lower A-Arms, Top plate are the same. The Impulse you use the standard wheels & tires rubber, or foam (HPI) foams. Some mods 26mm frts, 30mm Foam on RR,done with a dremel. .The Impact uses different Diffs, Dogbones and out drives, They run at 235mm, Impulse @ 200mm. Sightly wider. Most the composite pieces are interchangabl between the Impulse and Impact. Try upgrading to 2-speed trany with Impact 2-speed @ Centex clutch from the Impact. You'll be happy with that upgrade.

For parts Stormer Hobbies, Serpent.com, MMR, and AshfordHobby.com. Try these hobby shops. I think you'll find what you need.

hey, man thanx for the responce! ok sothere interchangable. but i don't own this car yet i could buy one for 130 with engine and upgrades. should i buy it? is it worthy? i really want it but don't wanna make a mistake. I'm just going to run on the streets.

Hey I will give ya 20 bucks lol jk . I had an impulse and found that if you take a dremel to the front uprights and grind them down flat even with the bearing any wheel will fit.

Hi guys I have a Impulse myself that i just bought from my cousin but i seem to have a problem with it. I have a rb .12 engine on it with a centax clutch. If i give it full throttle on take off my engine would scream and the car wont move. But if I take off slow then hit it full throttle it works fine until i make a turn and it would start screaming again but no speed. You guys think it could be my oneway bearing in transmission?

remove the engine.
take the clutch off.
centex clutches have one round shoe so clean everything. try to adjust the pringe tension as it was set to before you took it apart.

(there's gunk or oil in the clutch from the front bearing on the crank case)

I did what u said and it seems to be working now. Thanks. The only thing is that now i see alot of sparks coming out the clutchbell once i take off. Lol!
