I did not like building these. I'm going to get an extra left and right set of parts. If I had to swap out a c-hub quick it would be a pita on the trackside.

Everything feels smooth and tight. I don't know how long the dogbones and out drives will last. I have a ff01 that still in one piece around somewhere those out drives were metal.

A lot going on back here for adjustments. Toe Ange set to 2.5° from the box. I'll have to play around with the angles see if it makes a difference.

Nice. Dampers are on the next page that's for another day.

I broke the curved end off one of the free Allen wrenches and just chucked the wrench in my electric drill/screwdriver when building my TB04 PRO II. That car had very hard plastic and many, many fine thread screws to thread.

Good way to improvise. Snap on sells a pretty nice electric screwdriver set. It will work with bits from associated, MIP and any other that has that quick change chuck on it. Snap-On Stock#: CTS596

I messed up and put the rear outer pivot pins on the front. Weird they were in the A bag of parts? The front outer pivot pins Were in the B bag. No biggie switched them out all good now

Blha. Springs feel way stiff. I'll try them out but I'm sure I'll be changing them out.

Default 25, 26, & 27) mounting shocks and body posts

Almost done with the roller. Cut down some button head screws I had for a better look on the shock mount. Don't know how I feel about this weird front shock mount. Maybe its to keep the profile low in the front of the car for the body?... I'd prefer a standard shock tower and mount directly to the front arms. I wonder if a front shock tower is available for the ff03?

i got one from the local wal-mart for less then $25... saved us a ton of time last time I ran an enduro and had to build a TT01 the morning of the race

takes standard bits - that you can get most anywhere...

no need for something like that unit

worse case, use a little bit of grease on the threads before trying to screw them in... I've built a TON of tamiya kits over the years and never, ever needed anything crazy to build them - even after updating ALL my hardware

Yea I'll have to check that out. I know the one from snapon has really good torque adjustments. If the one from big blue I only $25ish and it works I'll have to pick one up. It was really bothering me that all the hardware wasn't hex so I went to Fastenal and picked up pack of screws.
