Here's mine. I've ran it on very sandy astro (roosters of sand) and it seems to pull away well traction wise as expected.
Just waiting for an custom shock tower to arrive that has holes similar to the YZ standard position
The conversion takes about a hour and using the older style battery mount allows you to run battery down middle and it won't move around unlike the carbon brace.

Just asking, why would you do this Bmax conversion for carpet?

It's not for carpet - it's more for when the grip is low but a normal mid doesn't carry the same corner speed as a hybrid - basically the hybrid in my experience just cannot get the traction down on low grip compared to a mid but the mid car doesn't steer as well
Plus it's fun to try these things !
EDIT: here's a link to Trevor's conversion - the carbon parts are of his design which is the part im waiting for my car

Hey guys, Im pretty new to this and was finishing my yokomo yz2 kit when I noticed that they did not give me one of my shock collars. part # z2-s4c. I m not sure how this will effect the shocks, is it worth it to wait while I order the spare part. It seems so small and its absolutely frustrating to get to this point and be missing such a small part. I am very very careful when unpacking. I looked for hours and have had it. Any advice on the matter would be very appreciated.

Just picked up a YZ-2 and plan on running stock for the time being. Any recommendations on a 69 tooth spur that plays nice with the slipper assembly? AE? Kimbrough? Don't see any 69 tooth options from Yokomo available in the States at the moment and doesn't look my Avid/Schelle spurs from my RB6 will fly. Thanks guys.

yes I waited. Thanks for the input. I got it from my local hobby shop they already said they would replace the part. It just became maddening last night looking and looking for this one tiny piece to complete the build. I shouldn't have even asked because the way I am, I would have never run it anyway without everything being where it should be. thanks again

So, to convert to the bmax tranny. Need to drill 2 new holes only for the waterfall? Any other holes needed?
