Shakes head, 17.5 guys
I'll be dremelling that whole thing off next time I have the side pods off.
Here is my current setup. Set a new track record fast lap in the main. Just had a couple more mistakes than our local AE driver, but now have the speed to hang with him. Havent got the car as good in the 5 pack as my RB6, need to try a few more piston and oil combos and maybe have to add weight to the car.

Had my first race with the YZ-2 today. Crazy amount of turn in compared to my B5m. I made a few changes, but still need to get the rear locked in more. What do you guys suggest to start changing to get more lateral traction so I can punch it out of the turns? I had to tip toe from the apex out or the car would loop on me. I attached my setup from today.

I was having same problem spinning out. I tried less Ackerman by adding another 1mm shim in the inside steering link. I may try the offset ball cup. Also raised the rear roll center. The car was easier to drive.

Try some pro squat! RF ^ Also try 2.5 or 0 degree front kick up insert. I had plenty of forward bite it was the side bite had problems.

Add some weight behind the motor or below the battery. You are not running stock so weight should not be an issue.

If adding weight to the rear or front of the car, would it change the way the car jumps? Below the battery centered on the car or equal amounts front and back?

Jake, I too felt it was the side grip I needed most. I had plenty of rip. I also noticed my slipper felt like it was fading towards the end of a run. I don't know if the Schelle is that much better or I had it too tight. I ran it to feel like my B5m's. I tried cutting the body holes out and it helped slightly.

Jake, I agree tires are 90% of these clay setups. At my track we usually run slicks until the track drys out around mains time. I have been going between the Proline Electrons and AKA Typos. The buggy felt best on slicks to be honest but in the final qual, it was getting sketchy and guys were switching over to treads. I'll try your suggestions.

My car was little loose but I just put 2mm washer on rear camera link on tower side, then I moved shock all way in on rear arm, short wheel base, and 0 spacers on front tower.
