The YZ-2 is already heavily hopped up as is. The only thing I could imagine them including would be aluminum hubs and rear camber block.

In my eyes the YZ-2 is equivalent to or more hopped than the Factory editions from other manufacturers.

I'd have liked to see the "new" CA car include the gullwing front arms/tower that are used almost all of the time on carpet and Astro but otherwise, they have alot of parts, especially the alum/"graphite" ones you may/maynot want depending on the situation - I'd rather get the "standard" for those and then pick and choose what else I want on an ala carte basis.

Default New to racing

I'm new to 2wd Stock racing, I'm wondering what you guys would recommend for a med-high grip indoor clay track? The yz2 DT or CA? Or just the YZ2? And what hopups/engine would you also recommend? Sorry for the ramble! Thanks!

I run on a med to high grip indoor clay track and would recommend the yz-2 DIrt edition. Im currently running a yz-2 with a bmax2 rear end and absolutely love it. By far the best 2wd car I have owned. Once the yz-2 dirt edition comes out i will be switching to that car since mines a hybird version.

I'd recommend getting the dirt edition for its ball diff, but buying the transmission case of the carpet edition as a tuning option. I'm a fan of Fantom motors, but there's lots of options

Unless you're running on carpet, get the Dirt Edition.

The ones at our track seem to be really durable. I've seen a couple of guys break front arms in big crashes but that's about it.

Looks like A main changed the pre order availability to April. Wonder if 1st order filled or we all need to wait longer
