Included, as always, the "Tri-Tip Saturday Night BBQ", hosted by the St. Cyr family and On-Time services! Everyone who has been here knows this is worth the trip in itself. Hope to see you all again this year!
Unfortunately, Charlie Suangka will not be able to join us this year But, don't worry, we are looking to bring in a guest announcer that would be no less than qualified to fit the bill

To smooth out some of the spots on the track, we used a product called ProPoxy. It's a self leveling, 2 part epoxy with grout mixture. It is a very expensive product, it runs about $300 for 4 cubic feet and we used about 12 feet of it this last year. It's not perfect, but much better than in years past.
This year we plan on adding an additional 12" of curbing to the entrance of pit lane to give us a little more wiggle room when we come in hot We also plan on getting rid of the gravel around pit lane and adding concrete to help keep the pitting area cleaner. Karen finally gave approval (sort of) to let us remove the 4 trees behind the drivers stand that always drop leaves on the race surface during the middle of the day

Christmas came early for the TZGP!!!
Well folks, Christmas has come early for this years Timezone Grand Prix! Our special guest race announcer, will be the the Worlds Finest and the One and Only, Scotty Ernst!!! Everyone knows the "Man" of RC race announcing, the producer of the most prestigious events around the Globe! He is coming to our little slice of heaven in Battle Ground, Washington! If you don't know him, he is the only man I know who can make a F Main race sound like they are going for the World Championship. It will be truly a honor to have him with us this year! An extra special thanks goes out to Charlie Suangka he is a man of his word and a stand up gentleman

Those improvements are not needed but will definitely improve the track. Michelle was looking forward to hanging out with Melissa and whole gang.
What is sad was that she said she is only attending 3 races next year, "timezone is one, you pick the other two.." lol, we are so disappointed..
Everyone - DO NOT MISS THIS RACE!!! You will be glad you did!
