Just curious....are you doing anything that is going to "revolutionize" the 12th scale world? Or is it going to be a car based on the battery layouts of the L4/new Trinity, bmi, irs, hyperform...etc? The slapmaster imo is a very different car(something ive never seen before)

Very cool link, they missed the Bandito and the Parma 1/12th car from the same time as the original 12L. What the hell was that called, anyone remember? Blackstock used to race it...

It will be really interesting to see if you can figure out a way to overcome all the problems other cars with that layout have had.

Most 1/12th cars have to have the batts slammed as far back as possible to work right. This includes all the current crop of vertical sot cars like the RugRat, T-Fource, etc.

You would have to have the batts so far back they would almost touch the motor can. Then how do you hook up the pod?

Like I said I like cool new stuff. I would love to see you be successful and work this out.

nice site. I've got many of those cars at the house- Leisure 100 and a protype, Bolink Challenger,Delta Super Phaser and afew others. They did forget a few USA chassis. As for how to get the new car with a T bar to work - Got an unusual bolink 1/10th scale with the answer.I was told several times it would not work and left it on the shelf for several years. The I used it at the Nationals at Minregg and won the B main . Also won the next three state races in the B main and then retired the car.By the way that new trinity car looks real familiar in the picture they have.

Remember that weird horseshoe car that ran in the FSEARA series in the late 80's? It didnt have a t-bar, it had a u-bar with the pod at the bottom of the U and pivot balls at the tops of the U. The front chassis was a T with the batts at the bottom of the T slipped into the U. I think is was hand made but it looked good.

Adrian that car was from team pit stop in the 80's. The Bolink I drove came much later and worked.

Bolinks were good back then. You just had to work with them a bit. :-)
