Default What Hyper 7 Upgrades?

I've now got my Hyper 7 engine run in and going well but I'm just not satisfied with the steering of the buggy (think I might have stuffed the steering servo) and critically can't get good braking no matter what adjustments I make! My mate tells me his old 1/8 buggy used to be able to lock all 4 wheels under full braking! I'm lucky if I can stop from top speed inside 5 metres and sure as hell can't lock the wheels.

What upgrades can I make to improve steering and braking? Is stronger servos the only way to go? If so which ones? I'm currently looking at a 4-brake-disk set up - would that improve stopping power markedly? What other upgrades should I consider to get this buggy running well - I've got a little money to burn here

A stronger servo would help your braking. Any servo (Metal Gear ones preferred) with 100oz+ torque such as the JR Z650M or Hitec's HS-645MG will easily lock up all 4 wheels, and a digital steering servo with 100+ oz torque and response speed less than .2 seconds is good.
