Shine up carbon ?
Just bought an Awesomatic EVO700 used, and the carbon underneath the battery is not looking so good.
Is there any way to shine up carbon, without damage the carbon ?

You could try buffing it with polish but it may need to be sanded with very fine grit sand paper to get scratches out first. It's generally not something people worry about.
I've never tried to get rid of it, but that's how I would try to do it. But you risk making it worse instead of better. So keep that in mind.

Might do the trick with a sticker.
Was just wondering if there was a fix for that.. :-)

Any clear coat from a can really, but it's just going to scuff up straight away again from the battery anyway

get one of these...works really well and keeps battery from sliding around. I have feeling new future kits will include these.

This is easy. Like mentioned before you use increasing grit sandpaper used from wet 800, dry 1500,then dry 2000. That will get all the scratches out and look 90% like new. The last part is aluminum, mag wheel polish from the auto store. it will look just like new carbon.

If you are going to fix the carbon make sure to put the rubber tape over it..otherwise after a few runs the carbon will go back looking the same. If you do not plan on using rubber tape you might as well just leave the carbon as is. The rubber tape comes standard on the 2015 BD7...it works so well I ordered more for my other BD7's
