Can someone explain how the different shock bladder colors change handling?

Does anyone have an overview about the several chassis for the D07?

I think the large part is driving the stock chassis, but I'm interested in the aluminum v2 chassis, or the 2.25mm chassis (A-01-G30643) to lower the COG.
How is the handling experiance?

Additionally I don't realy know, what I have to think about the aggressive package.

The differing bladders will control the rebound rate of the shock. If your shocks have a hold drilled in the shock cap then this won't matter so much.

I am seeing that VBC has released the TBBS shocks and the LCG shock towers for the D07. Is there any advantage to upgrading my D07 to these?

The Aluminum v2 chassis, on carpet, takes the car handling to another level. The car is more stable, consistent and transitions better. I found it to be a night and day difference. 👍👍👍

Default Raceberry Towers?

Has anybody here use longer towers on the D07?

I have some Raceberry towers, and originally used them with some plastix Xray shocks - I was quite impressed - though Xray plastic shocks are a real pain to get entirely consistent.

I bought a schumacher recently (spares availability in the UK for VBC is challenging trackside), but I haven't got rid of the VBC - I like the car.

Any experiences or tests?

Dear All - I was using my D07 yesterday for the first time outside - down at Coastal in Ipswich. The car was almost perfect in 13.5 boosted - driving was OK. Just thought you might find the following info helpful.:
- 32.5 wt rear oil - 30 wt front oil (maybe shld try 32.5 front and 35 rear
- Ride red springs all round
- f05 front arm holders (slight sweep)
- Raceberry long towers (extended my shocks by unscrewing ball joint)
- 2 screws motor mount
- 2 screws front shock towers
- top deck front two and rear two screws
- outer top link 1.5mm front
- outer top 2mm rear
- VBC DO8 plastics ie: silver arms front and rear; with uprights and steering arms.
- 6mm rear ride height - 5.5 front
- Sorex 32ry
- believe it or not Nosram Asphalt worked better at the track than MR33 Rheihard - shame I only discovered in practice at the end
- Mazda GX lightweight (yes - I must be the only person that loves this shell - mount it a tad forward)
- 2 degree rear camber
- 0.5 degree front camber
- front droop 5
- rear droop 0.5
- rear diff 5000wt

I'd start with an FDR in the upper 3.7 to mid to low 3.8 and check temps

I was wondering if anyone could tell me the difference between the two aluminium chassis that are available for the D07? I have been reading that the new Black CRC carpet likes to have this style of chassis to make things run better. Given that which one would be the one to get the normal one (Part No. B-02-G30303) or the V2 one (Part No. B-02-G3059).

Thanks for any help with this one..

Thanks for the link and the write up. Looks like VBC has discontinued the v2 chassis and it isn't available anymore. Oh well that would be my luck..
