The tc3/4 did in fact win, if all was fair and square...

If Pavidis's car was so good, why was Hara able to get close enough to take him out?

This is fun lol

You guys don't even feel a little bad about Hara's obvious attempt to take Pavidis out.... Wow.....Masami got a stop and go for a lesser infraction in the same Worlds..... The tc3 was faster than both yokomo&HB cars at the end of the mains.... Pavidis was cheated out of a Championship....That's all....

It is a good car, I dusted mine off after 8 years of hibernation to run in our "club class"
13T hobbywing and max 6.5FDR.
Was really happy with it. Was quick, but you really had to drive with 100% effort and concentration.
Even after it broke and now has Variable wheelbase and toe on the left hand rear it was pretty good.
But then I drove my Xray, and realised, things have really moved on.

As I said was, should still be a very good car for VTA but I wouldn't want to be going back from my current car (BD7) either.

The tc4 made the 2004 ifmar worlds Amain...Juho Levanen drove it well eventhough it did not have the BERT upgrades..Juho started tenth and finished 5th... Imagine if these upgrades were available then !!! Wow....

But all the other cars it was against would all have the same upgrades they have recieved over the years.
You do realise not only the TC4 has been developed over the years.
Your argument here is completely invalid.
So many what ifs, well thats motor racing, all the what ifs would apply to all the other cars too.

My question for you is, do you race with a DeLorean body?
You seem to love going back in time.

All I am saying is that the tc4 (with BERT's upgrades) in the right hands can win the Ifmar World Title.....Team associated should further develop its shaft platform right alongside its belt car...
Ps: AE needs to make DCJ's for the tc4, a good gear diff, carbon driveshaft, and short shocks/towers, etc....
Even if they never develop the tc4, I am sure my upgrades will put my tc4.1's in alot of podiums.... PEACE !!!!

Bert the platform has merit and might be worth another look.

I certainly would like to see one with a new chassi and top deck.

But if a TC4 with bert upgrades could win the worlds then it would have already.....

Was this 6 cell or 5? I don't remember when 5 cell became a thing but it really slowed them down quite a bit.

I thought 5 cell existed in mod for a bit depending on country/series?

I have erased the battery building/comm cutting days out of my mind. Nothing like cutting a comm on a 7 turn motor after every run.

Pretty sure this event took place during the 6 cell era. Running a mod TC was a far more attainable goal back then since the cars were a LOT slower.

Cutting comms and maintaining batteries - I don't miss it one bit.

I want to say it was around 2006-2007. Batteries at this time where putting out a lot of power but not lasting long.

I don't miss c-cells or anything about the brushed era, except the sound a nice running mod motor made at full rip.
