Default Chuck,

what you need to look for is the pinch of your piston/sleeve (see if you can push the piston all the way through the sleeve) and if the conrod bushings have play.

Overheating does not necessarily scar you piston/sleeve or causes any other obvious damage

Is it a Taiwan copy (clone) of the Novarossi and claims to have improved performance? Is there any difference than clone CD or DVD? I'm very curious to know.

Taiwan are very famous for DIY engine mod.

the internal parts used are the same/similar to a jp xt12 but the external parts are different, u could call it a clone of novarossi i guess

You can find illustrative pictures of how to take the sleeve out at http://www.rbproducts.com/rbww/faqrb...istonliner.htm

wich nova button head is interchangable with the sts
hand mod motor. is it the mt or rs version. i just ordered two
of the rs hand mod motors but i am planning on using non

I would think all Nova based motors have the same non-turbo (or turbo) heads. If indeed the STS is identical to the Nova based engines, then I would think any Nova based engine head button would fit. I know that RBs, Megas, NRossi, MT-12 have the same head buttons.

the head button on nova engines is different for short rod and long rod design. the short rods are the rs12, x12, new mt12. The old mt12 is the long rod and has a different button. short rod buttons work on the sts.
