I too will be running a P3 .27 with a JP2 Pipe, I was waiting for the New Collari .28 but i guess i will keep that one as a backup, once it comes out. I have had nothing but good luck with Picco engines, i have had a P2 .21 and .26 that i have raced in my revo, as well as a P3 .26 that lives in an MGT. All have held a tune exeptionally well and i have had at lease 4 to 5 galloons through each before even thinking about a Piston and sleve. So bang for the buck you cant go wrong with a Picco

I will as I learn the vehicle more make the changes. Just wondered if there were some essential hop ups nessesary.
I already got a JP1 pipe as the stock one seemed more toward the mid to high range. Oh that and a starter box and the lower engine mounts.
Thanks in advance

Without knowing what comes in the RTR, I would say your obvious upgrage would be a steering servo. Something with some good umph and speed (180 oz/in + and .18 - transit time) to take advantage of the great geometry. That and some bearings for the steering cam.... it would take 4. Be careful of the real thick pipe mount with the JP-1 or 2, I and some others were breaking stingers as it was too stiff, and during chassis flex they would break. Use a thinner mount wire with more flex.
Maybe check the diff oils, be sure they're full and/or put in your choice of weights... I'm running 7-30-5 Front to Rear.
Hope that helps!

Thats a really nice blue on there TTR. Judging by that I am relieved to know that blue doesn't clash to badly with the yellow wheels. What engine is that?
Here's a few pics of mine. Haven't painted the body yet.

OK Guys,
I got mine all built...I ended up getting the pro kit cause the hobby shop that was suppose to order my RTR...ended up messing it up and I benifited greatly..
I got the Pro kit, Jammin JP2 pipe and manifold, Starter Box and a OS .30 all @cost....So for there little mess up I got a steal....
First impression is that I felt very confident with it....Felt like my old 8th scale but took hits that would totaly mess up the buggy, this truggy can take a big hit and just roll through it...It has incredable steering, and jumps with the best of vehicles.
Now about the OS .30.....
I was under the impression that it would lag a bit in top end so I got the JP2 pipe...Boy was I wrong... It has a great power band.... I think it had more than enough power throughout its powerband although I did just order the Vantage Torque pipe to see if I can improve the lower end for the smaller tracks I run on...
I will let you all know how it fairs...
I just didn't see anyone how had put this engine in there Tuggy so I wanted to give a little review...
Hop ups to only include z brace and one peice motor mount...
