I ran a CRC Xi before, there is no comparison on build quality

The only thing some complained of was there is definitely more slack in the front steering joints at the uprights, but the car drives fine with that.

Haven't had to replace ans single part on the Xray since I bought it. The mirror opposite of my CRC

Not all the parts will.

These I know will:
Steering blocks
all the orange alumn pieces
1 hole piston
bump steer shims
pivot socket and ball
upper arm shims

I am not sure about the other stuff until I get my final production cars. The preproduction stuff is slightly different than what was released.

We stock most of the X12 items at Reflex. I would say that if you need anything extra is the steering blocks, outside of that I have not seen any breakage and about 60% of our locals run the X12.

The two upgrades I would do from the factory kit is switch to a carbon rear axle and a better center shock. The regular XRAY shock leaks and goes through bladders a bit more than other shocks. Also, the selection of springs is limited with the stock shock.

I also come from the CRC and I can tell you, I like my X12 '14 so much more. I will have a tough time reasoning the upgrade myself to the new car.

What shock do you recommend? All i have ever known in 1/12 is CRC but this car really makes me see there may be better options.

The Hot Bodies 1/12 Shock design is the best IMO, however very hard to find. RSD sells the Team Prime Shock which is essentially the same with some premium features.

Yes, the hot bodies shock is very nice, but unfortunately discontinued.

We sell the Team Prime shock, which is very nice, but the Silva Concepts, CRC and Kyosho shocks are a good alternative as well. I believe IRS sells a pretty good one too.

We will have more Team Prime shocks in about 10 days. It is really hard to keep them in stock, but I know Apex RC ordered the last of them from us and should have them in stock before then.

I really like the CRC shock and ran it on my BMI before I started running CRC cars. But red with all that orange...not sure I can do that Might have to get one re-anodized...LOL

What servo(s) is the chassis drilled for to get perfectly centered alignment?

It looks like a ko pds-949 in the photo, I know my bls651 wasn't perfectly centered in the 2014ver, but close enough compare to like savox. pds-949 and 951 are discontinued by KO though

Perhaps you should look into distributing Zen Racing products;
