In my opinion with these stock motors, its all down to the driver. Miss a corner, and it doesn't matter which motor you have..

I disagree. Yes if you miss a corner it's over. But when the 17.5 d41s guy misses a corner and catches back up to you...
The d41s and the r1 up are blindingly fast.

Id agree with Alex.. a motor that spins at 5000 rpm more than yours and your gearing is the same ur at a disadvantage on the 1st straight ...
