Default Competition eletronics Turbo Dyno

I am looking to buy a competition electronics turbo dyno. It does not have to be converted or have anything fancy. I am just looking to buy a working one. If you have one just lying around please send me a message or post on this thread, I will try and remember to check it daily.

I've never even heard of it.

What is it exactly? Is it like a real car dynamometer for HP and torque and things like that?

Whatever it is, it has my interest.

Yes, it is essentially that it reads many things. Including torque, rpm, watts, volts, I believe a few others. It reads this under a load which is what makes it so useful. Because its like having it in your car. Unforutunately they arent made any more. They were made in the late 80's not sure when they stopped but they did. There are some out there however the people who have them and are using them know how valuable they are. So they wont give them up.

DUDE!!! That's awesome! I so totally want one now.

I don't see why they aren't made anymore.

We could just reverse engineer one and build a sh*tload more I would think.

The fact that they're not made anymore explains why nothing that made any sense came up when I did a Google search of it.

Oh ok, found it.

Was that mostly used for electric cars?

Judging by what I read, it made reference only to electric.

It must have been really old. The page referred to the printer as a Hewlett Packard. They havn't been called that in forever.

This machine is vintage.

I say we need something newer for nitros.

I bet that's a very well made device though.

CE made a limited run years ago and they were Turbo Dyno 45's. They made around 150 of them this is after they stopped the dyno that was the 35 years prior. They were offered to tuners and battery matchers. I have one I will let go if you wish. PM me if you want.
