Default HPI T15 with T3.0 internals?

I have a RS4 3 Evo with a T15 engine. I read somewhere that the T15 & T3.0 use the same block. So my question is, could I use a T3.0 sleeve and piston in the 15? Are the heads interchangeable? I'm trying to avoid spending $100 on a complete 3.0 if I can use some parts I already have. I know the carb and starter will work. Thanks in advance!

Idk the answer to your question but dollar hobbies sells cheap parts for the 3.0 motor.

I ended up buying a complete 3.0 from dollar hobbyz. Certainly not the fastest thing out there, but it's good enough for what I'm trying to do. And to answer the question, not much is interchangeable. The .15 and .18 sleeves are different sizes and I think the crank might be different too.
