Default New to Rubber Tyres

Hey guys, just got a few questions on Rubber tyres and inserts. Do you prefer sorex or Take Off's for ashpahlt racing and why. Im currently using sorex but im finding that my wear rate is a little high, despite being in the correct temperature range of the tyre. Also, the sorex instructions happen to be in Japanese and i cant quite read what the difference is between A, B, and C inserts.

Your help is appreciated.

I use mainly Take off 27s. They can take last for ages in Stock, yet still keep gripping till the end. Even on cold nights outdoors racing, once you've put them on the tyre warmers for a little bit, they still grip.

In regards to tyre inserts, I use whatever Take off put in the packs.

take off put medium inserts in there pre glues. Alot off us over ehre have started using a slighty stiffer insert than that and softening the car, it provides less tire wear. We mainly use take off tires aswell

sorex are a much better tyre than takeoff and will provide more grip at the expense of tyre life.

As far as sorex inserts go, in order of thickest to thinest, A, B, C. They all come in medium and medium hard.

The new Take-Off RP30's premount with medium inserts are great but after 10-15 runs they fade even if they are not worn out at all.

Sorex feel consistent throughout the race and maintains good grip levels for many runs. I've also noticed that the wear on the front has increased since i started running a spool.

My favorite are Take-Off CS Premounts on the dish wheel. Good grip, good life

You might be a bit faster right-off on Sorex or RP's but you gotta have new tires more often. I choose to spend the cash I save on tires on track time
